Ok I know I started this blog thing in October but, WOW, where did November and December go? Oh yeah, I saw small visions of those months fly past very quickly as I worked seemly 24 hours. Not really, but it surely felt that way. Anyway, I did acquire my aunts equipment. I went thru it and even went to the store I remembered that taught classes. Well, when I went in the store the owner was basically standing in front of the door talking to another customer. He barely let me in the door and wanted to know what I needed. Well I was taken aback by his lack of customer service. I inquired about the classes they taught and he informed me they no longer taught them. BUMMER! So since I felt like I was intruding and I decided to leave not even looking at the variety of glass supplies and equipment that was in the store. Too bad for him!

My Darling Husband (DH) Darrin had cleared a space off of on our "work" table out in the garage and I even separated all my supplies, threw out unnecessary items and boxed away things I had no idea what how they were used. Darrin and I went back to the store, a few days later, with anticipation of how we would be "helped" this time. The owner (I'll have to get his name) was actually much more helpful. He didn't get out of his chair but he answered questions and suggested I buy a book and we purchased a few pieces of glass. He even told me to bring in my box of "no idea" items and he'd let me know how and what they are used. I now have a idea of the first project. I am also looking into a software program that will make designing projects and keeping inventory of glass, lead and came.

I decided for the very first project will be a mosaic coaster. I will post some pictures in a day or two...I know you can't wait!
